The Role:
As an IELTS Instructor at Shikho's Bohubrihi platform, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals by enhancing their English language skills, thereby opening doors to international education and professional opportunities. Your expertise in the IELTS curriculum will not only guide students through their learning journey but also contribute to the development and refinement of our course offerings.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Conducting Engaging Live Classes Monthly
Lead and execute a minimum of 10 dynamic live classes each month, designed to help prepare students for the IELTS exam and help solve the problems they are facing. Utilize interactive tools and techniques to foster an engaging learning environment, encourage student participation, and address individual queries in real-time.
2. Live Instruction Enhancement
Innovate and implement engaging teaching methodologies for live classes, ensuring interactive and impactful sessions that cater to diverse student learning styles. Develop strategies to increase student participation and engagement during live sessions.
3. Curriculum Development & Optimization
Regularly assess and update the IELTS curriculum to reflect the latest exam patterns, educational research, and student feedback. Work closely with the curriculum team to introduce new materials, activities, and assessments that enhance learning outcomes.
4. Student Support & Community Engagement
Provide personalized feedback and guidance to students through our social communities. Lead community discussions, encourage peer-to-peer learning, and create a supportive learning environment where students feel motivated to achieve their goals.
5. Feedback Implementation & Continuous Improvement
Establish a feedback loop with students to gather insights on course content, teaching effectiveness, and overall learning experience. Use this feedback to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement in teaching methods and curriculum quality.
6. Professional Development
Stay updated with the latest trends in IELTS teaching and examination standards. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have previous experience teaching IELTS courses, with a strong track record of helping students achieve high scores.
- Must have a minimum overall IELTS band score of 8.0.
- Experience with live online teaching and curriculum development will be considered an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adept at engaging and motivating students across diverse backgrounds.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, linguistics, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
