Career Counsellor

The Role:


As a Career Counsellor you will be responsible for advising customers on the features, benefits and uses of  Bohubrihi and ultimately growing the customer base by driving multi-year and multi-product sales. The role means you will have to focus on building deep relationships with new and existing customers via cold-calling. We are looking for experienced sales professionals who are looking to take their career to the next level by working for an internationally venture backed fast growing technology start-up.


Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Advise potential customers for their learning needs for skill development to aid their career through structured counselling sessions.

2. Understand customer profile and their specific problems to explain the implications of ineffective learning methods.

3. Create the need for smart learning and advise customers to buy our subscription as a solution.

4. Handle objectives and price negotiations with respect and credibility to generate sales revenues.

5. Continuously learn and upgrade product knowledge and sales skills to achieve and exceed growing sales targets.

6. Possess a sound knowledge and understanding of consumer behaviour.


Ideal Profile:


-At least 1-2 years of prior experience in counselling, education, or sales in a consumer facing company

-Undergraduate or Bachelor's degree in CSE or Marketing.

-Having knowledge and understanding of the IT and technology world

-Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the education sector.

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.

-Tech-savvy with a good understanding of online platforms, social media, and educational technologies.

-Ability to empathise with students, understand their needs, and provide suitable solutions.

-Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.


The important bits:


-Job type: Contractual, 6 Days a Week (Saturday to Thursday), 1 PM to 10 PM (or equivalent hours)

-Location: Banani, Dhaka, Bangladesh

-Department: Bohubrihi Tele Sales

-Reporting to: Tele Sales Lead, 

      -Salary: BDT 14,000, with opportunity to earn sales incentive from a minimum of 3% to 10% based on 
      target  achievement
