The Role: 

As the Head of Business (Up-skilling) Shikho, you will champion the vision and strategic direction of our mission to redefine the future of professional upskilling. This is a role that demands not just oversight but a visionary approach to scaling our B2C upskilling product offerings, enhancing our recruiter network, and pioneering our B2B corporate training solutions. You will be the architect of growth, building bridges between today's educational offerings and tomorrow's professional success stories. In this high-impact role, your leadership will not only shape the trajectory of our business but also touch the lives of countless professionals, empowering them to excel in a rapidly evolving digital economy.



Key Roles & Responsibilities:


1. Strategic Business Growth & Development:


- Lead and execute an ambitious growth strategy to scale the business by minimum tenfold within the current fiscal year, setting clear, measurable objectives.

- Innovate and develop business models, identifying new market opportunities to expand both the B2C upskilling product portfolio and the B2B corporate training solutions.

- Continuously evaluate and refine business strategies based on market feedback and performance data to ensure alignment with evolving market demands and organizational goals.



2. Sales Leadership & P&L Management:


- Take full ownership of the P&L for the Professionals business unit, closely monitoring all financial aspects including revenue streams, cost management, and budget allocation.

- Drive the existing sales machinery with a focus on optimizing sales processes, enhancing team performance, and ensuring achievement of sales targets.

- Proactively identify and pursue new revenue opportunities, particularly in the B2B sector, by developing tailored upskilling solutions for corporate clients, fostering long-term partnerships and contractual relationships.



3. Product Portfolio Management & Service Excellence:


- Oversee the current course offerings, ensuring they are not only competitive but also exceed industry standards in terms of content quality, delivery, and learner engagement.

- Collaborate with product development teams to conceptualize, develop, and launch innovative courses and learning modules, keeping pace with the latest industry trends and technologies.

- Ensure a high standard of service delivery, maintaining a consistent and enriching learning experience for all students, with a focus on high engagement and course completion rates.



4. Team Leadership & Operational Excellence:


- Build and nurture a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Ensure cross-departmental collaboration, aligning sales, marketing, product development, and customer support teams to work towards unified business goals.

- Streamline operations, implementing best practices in project management and operational efficiency to optimize resource utilization and maximize productivity.



5. Market Analysis, Intelligence, & Adaptation:


- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies.

- Leverage market insights to inform and adapt business strategies, ensuring the organization's offerings remain competitive and resonate with the target audience.

- Foster a data-driven culture, utilizing analytics and performance metrics to guide decision-making and measure the success of initiatives and campaigns.



6. Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management:


- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking gatherings, elevating the organization's profile and expanding its professional network.

- Oversee the recruiter panel, ensuring a robust and active network that facilitates successful placement of graduates into relevant organizations, thereby enhancing the brand's reputation and value proposition.



Qualifications and Skills:


- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

- Proven experience in a leadership role, with a strong track record in scaling business operations, preferably in the EdTech sector or related industries.

- Exceptional understanding of the B2C and B2B market dynamics, especially in the realm of professional upskilling.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a data-driven approach.

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders at all levels.

- A visionary leader with a passion for education technology and a commitment to transforming professional upskilling.



The Important Bits:


- Job type: Full Time

- Location: Banani, Dhaka, Bangladesh

- Reporting to: CEO

- Salary: Competitive Senior Leadership Bracket and Negotiable Based on Experience

- Working Days: 5 days a week, from Sunday to Thursday
